Welcome to Everest Academy of Lemont.
We are a private Catholic school serving over 230 students who are being formed integrally each and every day. Together with families, faculty and staff, we are building authentic Catholic leaders for tomorrow.
The origin of Everest Academy, once known as White Pines Academy, is rooted in the desire of a group of families who wanted to give their children a solid Catholic education with a rigorous academic program. The school began in a farmhouse and in a home of a founding family. In 1996 White Pines Academy began renting space in the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont, where classes began with just twenty students.
In 1998, the school board of directors purchased a 32 acre site in Lemont for construction of a new school building. Construction was completed in 2009 and the new school building opened under a new name. Renamed Everest Academy, we opened the doors to our current location on Bell Road in Lemont. Thanks to God's grace and countless generous families, we have grown to 230+ students and 40+ full-time staff and faculty.
Our success depends on your gifts - whether large or small. As a private school, independent of Archdiocesan support, we do not receive tax or church benefits. We rely on generous alumni, corporations and friends like you.

I come to you in thanksgiving, knowing that all I am and all that I have is a gift from you. In faith and love, help me to do your will. I am listening, Lord God. Speak your words into the depth of my soul, that I may hear you clearly. I offer to you this day all the facets of my life, whether it be at home, at work, or at school—to be patient, to be merciful, to be generous, to be holy. Give me the wisdom and insight to understand your will for me and the fervor to fulfill my good intentions. I offer my gifts of time, talent and possessions to you as a true act of faith, to reflect my love for you and my neighbor. Help me to reach out to others as you my God have reached out to me.
